Mark Wigan is a true inspiration and one of Britain’s foremost graphic artists whose drawings have celebrated and chronicled the worlds of street style and club culture.

Expect:

• You can bring work to ask for advice -Mark will be open to all for questions and advice

• He'll be giving an inspirational presentation - which will share his amazing journey from bedroom artist to getting his work out to Japan and beyond...before the existence of World Wide Web!

• He will also continue painting his figures live ONTO the NOISE Lab walls since his intial visit to open the Lab just before xmas.

• An introduction to Berlin based artist Akim Nguyen who begins his week-long residency this week.

Wigan first gained attention in the mid 80s for his illustrations for i-D magazine and the NME with career highlights including painting murals and exhibiting at London and New York's Limelight Clubs at Andy Warhol's suggestion (who described the work as 'hot').

Many of his projects have taken place in Japan including the Mark Wigan merchandise shops throughout Japan.

His inspirational publications,  ‘Basic Illustration’ series will be available at the NOISE Free Arts Lab
